Old Cognac “Générations”

Cognac “Générations” comes from a barrel our grandfather kept for more than 60 years in our cellar, and toped up intentionally with the family’s best eaux-de-vie. This very old Cognac from Grande Champagne reaches perfection in balance, length and complexity. The nose is of smoked and toasted wood, with hints of cocoa, leather and tobacco. The mouth feel, fine aromas of vanilla, spices, cinnamon and almonds. All of which give a great balance, and a 20 minute after taste reminding us of the nose’s cocoa and smoked aromas. The more we wait to taste the Cognac the more it opens to new aromas such as floral and undergrowth, and the previous aromas are more concentrated. The spicy after taste is proof of rare quality.
